 All nominations for the Committee  must be in by Thursday 30th May and you can find the nomination form on the notice board on the right hand side of the corridor as you approach the Members Bar.

Please give careful consideration as to whether you could commit a little of your time.

Strawberry Sunday was a great success and we raised a magnificent £1006 for Cavendish Cancer Care, a local charity that  provides support for families affected by cancer.

We had many visitors to the club and a good number took the opportunity to try bowling, some for the first time.

I would like to thank all our members who organised the event, helping on the day serving refreshments, providing bowling taster sessions on the green and generally being great ambassadors for our Club.

This was a magnificent effort, raising money for a great cause and also elevating our profile within the Nether Edge Community.

Dear Members,

We are now just just a few weeks away from the AGM and we are now seeking nominations for the following posts on the NEBC Committee:

• President
• Vice President
• Treasurer
• Secretary (Phil Holmes is happy to continue in this role)
• Committee Members

The nomination form is now posted on the notice board at the Club and will remain there until 1 week before the AGM. This is an important time for NEBC as the Constitution states that the Officer posts must be filled if the Club is to continue to function.

It is true that being on the Committee can be challenging but is also incredibly rewarding, knowing that your input is helping to maintain the traditions of the club and also keeping our building and facilities in good order.
